Welcome To Year 6!

Year 6 is being taught by Mr Proud who has taught right across KS2. Mr Proud enjoys all aspects of the curriculum but particularly enjoys teaching Maths, English, Art and Computing.

As well as teaching, Mr M Proud is also a lifelong Middlesbrough F.C supporter and a big fan of Cricket! When the sun comes out in the Summer term, Mr Proud enjoys sharing his love of the sport by running the after-school cricket club.

In his spare time he likes spending time with his family, painting and keeping fit and healthy by attending his weekly over-30s skateboarding night.

Mr Proud is also the school ICT and E-Safety Coordinator. He strongly believes that the use of ICT enhances the curriculum and can make learning even more accessible. 

Year 6 is a busy year preparing for SATS but we also find time to learn about many fascinating topics. Further information can be found below. Mr Proud also organises and attends our annual residential trip to Robin Wood. The children have always loved this experience and really helps them to grow to be more independent, setting them up well for their final step in Primary School.
